Kuah Rawon is a strong and rich-tasting black beef soup originated from Indonesia and is one of the most time-consuming rempah to prepare.
It uses natural colour enhancer from the buah keluak or black nuts from the Kepayang tree and is the main spice which gives the strong nutty flavour and dark color to the dish. This is one of our favourite rempah.
Our Kuah Rawon consists of fresh ingredients and spices including turmeric, chilli, galangal, lemongrass and high quality buah keluak.

INGREDIENTS: Onions, Garlic, Ginger, Lemongrass, Galangal, Turmeric, Kaffir and Bay Leaf, Buah Keluak, Coriander, Cumin, Chilli, Salt, Sugar
METHOD OF COOKING: • Add paste in heated cooking pot and add 750ml of water and let comes to a boil
• Add 1kg meat
• Simmer on low heat until meat is cooked. Ready to serve.
