Nuemis - Sambal Lado Ijo

This is the less spicier version of the sambal Lado Merah. Sambal Lado Ijo is also another popular spicy condiments to accompany many dishes.

Ijo is the Indonesian word for green, in Malay, it is hijau. The colour comes from the green birds eye chillies. This versatile rempah can be eaten as an accompanying condiment or cooked as a dish.


INGREDIENTS:
Onions, Garlic, Ginger, Red Chilli, Kaffir Leaf, Salt, Sugar


METHOD OF COOKING:
• Add paste in heated frying pan

• Add meat / prawns

• Simmer on low heat until meat is cooked. Ready to serve.
